The Tea
The Cinnado S1 cameras are all about cutting the cord. With integrated solar panels, you don't have to stress about plugging anything in, which makes installing these around your property way easier than wired systems. They pack 2K resolution, so you're actually getting decent detail compared to basic 1080p cameras, which is a big win for spotting faces or license plates.
That said, keeping your expectations in check is key. You'll need to grab a TF card separately if you want local storage, as it's not included in the box. Plus, while the IP65 rating keeps them safe from rain and dust, solar charging performance is always going to depend on how much direct sunlight your specific yard actually gets. Make sure your mounting spots are bright enough.
Power-Ups
The standout feature here is definitely the solar integration. It’s super convenient not having to recharge these manually. Combined with AI-powered PIR sensing that helps cut down on those annoying false alarms, this feels like a solid, low-maintenance way to keep an eye on your home's perimeter.
Why We're Hyped
We really appreciate the 2K resolution upgrade. It's a noticeable step up for security footage. The flexibility of having both local storage and cloud options is also a major plus, letting you choose how you want to keep your data safe without feeling locked into a single ecosystem.
